Panerai Radiomir 1940 Equation of Time 8 Days
The Panerai Radiomir 1940 Equation of Time 8 Days (Reference PAM 00516) is a rare and astronomically complex masterpiece that showcases Panerai's prowess in haute horlogerie, featuring one of watchmaking's most fascinating and seldom-seen complications. Crafted in polished stainless steel with a commanding 48 mm case, it presents a classic and highly functional aesthetic with its matte black sandwich dial, displaying the equation of time, date, and power reserve. This complication indicates the difference between mean solar time (watch time) and true solar time (sun time), which varies throughout the year. Powered by a manually wound movement, it offers an impressive 8-day power reserve. The black crocodile leather strap makes it a highly collectible instrument for the connoisseur of astronomical watches. The watch is in very good condition with only minor, intangible signs of wear, and includes its original box and papers.

Great value, and sharp looking. If you're looking for something a bit more dressy, you may elect to change out the band, but it suits this piece for function perfectly.
